Musculoskeletal (MSK) issues are among the largest claim segments for any self-funded plan. To address this, Harmony had to find a way to deliver the best care at the lowest cost. Unfortunately, this space is filled with point solutions that claim to manage the cost of MSK claims, but very few actually deliver any ROI for the employer. We evaluated over ten of these solutions to find the right partners.

Our second partner addresses the broader scope of MSK issues, such as aches, pains, and strains. These common issues, if not addressed, can lead to expensive pain medications or costly surgical interventions. Traditionally, this has been the domain of physical therapy (PT). While traditional PT has provided care for these conditions, new science has shown that treating them from a whole-person postural perspective delivers amazing results.

This approach involves no drugs and eliminates the need for long trips to the physical therapist. Each member is evaluated and given a unique program that they can follow on their own time and virtually anywhere, yielding remarkable results.
